1. Requesting a claim pack

If you are interested in making a claim then you can request a claim pack by completing the form on this website, or alternatively by calling our office on 0845 833 9792. Our staff will be happy to answer and queries which you may have and a claim pack will be sent out through the post within a few days.

2. Lodging a claim

Our claim pack contains a copy of our terms and conditions, and an east to complete single page claim form. You will need to provide us with some information, such as your name, address and date of birth, as well as details about your PPI policy before signing and returning the forms. If you do not have all of the information about your PPI policy to hand, you can still submit outr claim and we will try to find out the necessary information from your PPI provider.

Once we have received your completed claim form we will open your cane and we will then write to you confirming this.

3. Further information

Throughout the course of your claim we may need to contact you to obtain additional information, to confirm facts and figures with you or to request that you sign additional documentation or paperwork. It is important that you co-operate with all of our requests as quickly as possible in order to avoid any un-necessary delay to your claim.

4. Negotiating with the PPI provider

We will contact your PPI provider to let it know that we are dealing with a claim on your behalf, and we will then attempt to negotiate a full refund of your PPI premiums plus interest. We are legally required to attempt to resolve the issue directly with your PPI provider before taking additional legal action.

5. Taking formal legal action

If your PPI provider refuses to respond to our attempt to negotiate, reject s the proposal of a full refund or fails to co-operate in any other way, we will refer your claim to the Financial Ombudsman Service for adjudication. The Financial Ombudsman Service has the power to force your PPI provider to pay you a refund. We will prepare your case and any necessary supporting evidence, and we will also deal with any appeals on your behalf if this becomes necessary.

6. Paying our fees

We never charge up-front fees, and we take all cases on a no win, no fee basis. We will charge you 25% of the total benefit which you receive as a result of our involvement plus VAT. Once your PPI provider has confirmed your refund we will invoice you for payment of our fee. If your PPI provider pays your refund to us then we will deduct our fee and we will forward the remainder of the compensation to you. However, if you PPI provider pays your compensation directly to you, you will need to contact our office to arrange payment of our fee via debit or credit card, or by bank transfer directly into our account.
