How much is my claim worth?

If your PPI policy has been mis-sold to you, you will be able to claim a full refund of any premiums which you have paid under the insurance contract, plus interest on this amount. The value of your claim will depend on the cost of your PPI policy, and how long you were making payments under it.

How can I make a claim?

You can request our claim pack by completing the form on this website or telephoning our office on 0845 833 9792.  Inside our claim pack is a copy of our terms and conditions, and a simple claim form which you will need to complete by providing your personal details and details of your PPI policy.

How many claims can I make?

You will need to make a separate claim for each PPI policy that you have. Please photocopy our claim form as many times as required and send in a completed form for each PPI policy.

What if I have been given a payout under my PPI policy

If we are able to demonstrate that your PPI policy was mis-sold, this means the insurance contract was invalid and any money paid under the contract must be returned. Whilst this means that you get your insurance premiums back, it also means that if you have received a payout under the policy, the policy provider can reclaim this from you. If you have received a pay-out, you are advised not to make a claim unless the amount you expect to recover is much greater than the payout which you have already received.

If I have already tried to claim, can I try again?

If you have already lodged your claim with another claims management company, or you have taken your case to court or to the Financial Ombudsman Service but failed, we will not be able to assist you any further.

I can’t find my loan documents – can I still claim

Copies of your loan or PPI paperwork are helpful to us in managing your claim, but if you do not have these to hand then we can proceed without them.

I’ve looked at my loan paperwork but there is no mention of any Payment Protection Insurance.

Payment protection insurance is sometimes referred to by other names such as credit protection cover, loan insurance, credit card insurance, and debt repayment insurance. Anything that looks like an insurance policy may be PPI.

How do you manage my claim?

When we receive your completed claim form we will contact you to confirm that we have opened your case. We will then write to your PPI provider to initiate negotiations regarding a compensation deal. We are legally required to attempt to resolve the matter directly with your PPI provider before taking further action. If we are unsuccessful in reaching a negotiated settlement, we will prepare a case for submission to the Financial Ombudsman Service, which has the power to order your PPI provider to pay you a full refund.

What will I have to pay you?

We operate a no win, no fee system and our fee is 25% of the total benefit which you receive plus VAT. For the purposes of calculating our fee “total benefit” includes any debt reduction or cancelation which you obtain, in addition to any cash refund.

How are your fees paid?

If your PPI provider pays your refund to us, we will deduct our fees before transferring the rest of the compensation money directly into your bank account. Sometimes your PPI provider will pay the refund to you directly, in which case you will need to telephone the office on 0845 833 9792 to arrange payment by bank transfer or credit/debit card.

Who regulates you?

We are regulated by the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of justice reviews our terms and conditions to ensure that they are compliant with consumer protection legislation. For more information about our registration, visit the Ministry of Justice website at www.claimsregulation.gov.uk and search for our authorisation number (CRM 4757)

If I owe money to the PPI company, will I still get a cash refund?

If you owe money to the PPI provider and this money is due for payment, then the PPI provider is legally entitled to offset this against any refund which it owes to you. In these circumstances, you will only receive a cash payment if there is a surplus left over after your debt to the PPI provider has been paid off.

This situation is most likely to arise where your PPI provider is also your bank, building society or credit card provider.

Can I make a claim if I am bankrupt or in debt management?

Unfortunately, if you are bankrupt or in an IVA we will not be able to assist you. However, if you are in debt management we can still take your claim although you will need to be aware that any refund you receive may be used to reduce your debts and you will still need to pay our fee.
